Get Fit or Die Day 5

Happy Friday! No work today! Whoo!

Calories for Day 4 are about 1100 (need to track better)

Workout for day 5 -45 minutes on the bike and upper body on the Bow flex. I think I am bumping up sets on Monday, get more out of the workout.

I have lost 5 pounds per my scale, so hooray for me. See you tomorrow!!

Get Fit or Die Day 3

So 3 days of working out are in the book. I feel good except for my knees which ache something awful. However, as my legs get stronger and my fat turns to muscle, my guess is that will improve.

Day 2 calories were about 1100-1200. I did resist the Chinese food or I would have doubled my
calories.

Day 3 workout was 45 minutes on the stationary bike and then upper body workout on the Bow flex (circuit style, which I felt worked me harder). Weight down to 265 in 3 days... will see how that progresses.

Other things rattling around in my head today...

- Not sold on the new Facebook layout
-Cryptic Studios...I invested in you, glad to see you are doing something positive.
-Blood Bowl for the Xbox360. If you played the table top version, you will love it. Otherwise it's a fun diversion.
-Like my brothers girlfriend more and more. She is extending her hand in friendship to me and the Mrs and that's important to us. Props to double L.
-Big Al turns 5 tomorrow... tears will be shed.

Get Fit or Die day 2

Day 2 has arrived and I haven't quit! I am motivated, so I don't expect the quitting talk to start till after the weekend...

Day 1, just to put a bow on it, I took in about 1000 calories, which is under where I wanted to be but I will take it. No cheating by me either, but today will be the real challenge. Where I work brings in Chinese food on Tuesdays and it is awesome...I can already smell it... delicious...

Today I did 20 minutes on the stationary bike and Bow flex workout (Legs, back and abs). For those outside of the loop, I have a left knee that is in disrepair, it felt terrible last night, great today, but because I worked it out with ye old Bow flex, I only did 20 minutes on the bike.

Nothing to eat so far today... wish me luck.

Get Fit or Die Prologue/Day 1

Hi.

I haven't blogged in awhile because, quite frankly I didn't have much to say, but alas I have found a reason to drop nonsense on the internet. I am gross. I am 5'9 270 lbs and in very bad shape. I got this way by eating bad things by the bale full and not moving. I hate being fat and sedentary and desperately want to be fit. So everyday I will be posting my workout and my progress, including my lo cal diet. My goal is to lose 80lbs by 10/31/10 or to get my waist back whatever comes first. I intend to blog everyday as part of the routine, so keep my honest internet!

So... Day 1

45 Minutes on the stationary bike and Upper body workout (20 minutes) on the Bow-flex. It is 10 am and I haven't eaten so I will recap calories tomorrow. A couple of side notes...

-WHO DAT!! Hell ya Saints!
-"Avatar" Won me over after the first time I saw it.
- I have hope for the Notre Dame Football program with Brian Kelly in charge.
