The drought is over...

Greetings!

Sorry I have been remiss in my blogging duties but life keeps my hopping. A lot seems to have happened since my last entry so let me try and catch people up.

Current event stuff...
A bunch of famous people died. Including Michael Jackson, who I didn't care for and didn't understand all the hubbub. Seems that unless you are found guilty of a crime when you die everyone loves you and forgets about the pedophilia and bizarre behavior. Its all so vile that this will be the last mention of it.
N.Korea launches missiles... senseless murders of men, woman and children blah blah blah. I need to stop watching the news. I wrote a book about vampires and monster and I would prefer to live in that world than this one sometimes...

Comics,movies and miscellanious crap...
Also Captain America is coming back to life and while I am getting the story in bits and pieces...it sounds bad. That sucks because I liked Bucky Barnes aka the Winter Soldier as Caps' replacement... The Old Man Wolverine storyline is coming to an end, its pretty cool. Glad I didn't wait for the TPB. I did pick of Wolverine Essentials volume 4 and 5 on the 4th of July. The storyline when Wolverine loses the adamantium and basically goes out to find his place in the world is still excellent almost 15 years later. Love comics!
Ryan Reynolds is the Green Latern! Got to say I am ok with this because he is decent enough actor and fun to watch. Green Latern movie has to be bad ass. Big ups to Nan for teaching my the Green Latern rhyme when I was young and fostering my intersts in comics...
I think I saw a movie in the last 30 days... I was animated with Ray and the Queen of Latiffa phoning it in while John Leguizamo and Simon Pegg rocked it out and saved the Ice Age.

Champions Online
The game looks super bad ass! Been following the leaks more than the boards. I don't get the NDA, they know it will all end up leaked so how they can expect to keep stuff secrets is beyond me. From all the footage I have scene, it looks like CoX younger sister that dresses hotter, is interested in what you say and wants to roll around with no pant on. The combat is crazy fast, no more standing and waiting on recharges, no more silly class or power class constraints. It may be the last MMO I ever play. OR it will tank and I will be forced to pine away another five years until Marvel Universe online. If you don't know where the leaks are... I may help you but you have to know the secret code...

I also want to say congrats to Kathy and Andrew on getting married. Best of luck. Getting married was the best decision I ever made. My wife is the bomb; smart, beautiful and hell on wheels in the sack, everyday I thank God she picked my and not the sauve looking MFer she was talking to when we met.

I am going on a family vacation next week...going to Wisconsin... NO not the Dells. Going with a police officer friend who says they have night time bear feedings you can go and watch. He better bring his gun...
